High School Showcase -2 Dates Available

The LSU Baseball High School Showcases, which will take place on August 27, and September 24, provide an excellent opportunity for high school players to display their talents to the LSU Coaching Staff. The LSU Baseball High School Showcases are designed for the serious baseball player- one who has the interest and desire to play baseball at the next level. The camp is restricted to those individuals who will be in 10th-12th grades in high school in the Fall of 2011.

A maximum of 60 players will be permitted, in order to field 4 teams. We will have two sessions for players to choose from: a morning session beginning at 9am and an afternoon session beginning at 2:30pm. An exact allotment will be permitted for each playing position; when a certain position fills up, we will no longer accept campers for that particular position. Positions are as follows: 16 pitchers, 8 catchers, 4 First Basemen, 16 infielders, and 16 outfielders. Campers will then be assigned a team color, go through a pro-style evaluation and play instructional games with the LSU Baseball Staff present.

Campers must provide their own food and lodging. In the event of rain, Sunday August 28th, or Sunday September 25 will be used as a make-up day.
